***How about a Bar pot permit (for the competent novices who want to try SRT) if we aren't getting one for the later Yorkshire meet? [[User:Kathryn|Kathryn]] mh... the idea was precisely to avoid Bar Pot! I would strongly prefer to have an Alumn based exchange. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love GG main chamber but maybe trying something new could be more interesting! --[[User:Zucca|Zucca]] 11:18, 22 April 2009 (UTC) | ***How about a Bar pot permit (for the competent novices who want to try SRT) if we aren't getting one for the later Yorkshire meet? Proposal for Mich Term
The squash is on Fri 9th October.
After pub discussion, we came to this plan (more or less?):
-> One extra one day meet to Peaks would be the ideal solution to the high number of novices we experienced in the last couple of years.
- First meet (17/18 October) - Mendip Hills - one day meet
- Swildon's Hole, MNRC (or Wessex)
- Second meet (24/25 October) - Peak District - one day meet
- Peak cavern or P8 or Giants, Orpheus
- Third meet (30 Oct/01 Nov) - Yorkshire Dales - weekend meet
- Sell Gill and other shortish caves which require no permit, Pool Sink? (just in case we get competent novices who want to try out their SRT skills), Greenclose?

- Bonfire night at the Farm (6/8 November) (I'm investigating this)
- Fouth meet (13/15 November) - South Wales - weekend meet
- OFD I & II, Little Neath if very dry, SWCC
- or Craig, Porth Yr Ogof, Nant Rhin, Whitewalls
- Fifth meet (27/29 November) - weekend meet
- Lost Johns (Can we watch people on the Centipede and the Dome rebelays? How tight are Dome and Cathedral deviations?), Easegill (Lancs to WR traverse anyone?), Bull Pot Farm
Caves I want to visit, are not novicey and require permits: Notts, Notts II, Washfold, Marble Steps, Gingling, Newby Moss, Little Hull... (Crescent Pot as well, but I'm not allowed to say it aloud)
