Insurance and membership
New cavers get 17 days' free insurance from the club in order to try caving, starting from the first training session or meet you attend. After these 17 days, insurance and membership need to be paid in order to continue caving.
Insurance fees for 2011/2012 are:
- January-December 2012: £8 for students; £16 for non-students
- Final quarter of 2011: £2 for students, £4 for non-students*
- NOTE: If insurance for the final quarter is needed, this has to be paid together with the annual insurance for the year after, totalling £10 for students; £20 for non-students.
Club membership is £6 and is paid together with the insurance.
