*We should definitely buy new phones. There is no reason not to buy several new, intuitive phones. Having models that no-one knows how to use is an accident waiting to happen in my opinion. [[User:Ollie s|Ollie s]]

*Before we get anything we need to make sure it's unlockable. I've got some free software which unlocks lots of models via IMEI number. Old Nokias are generally easiest. I'd be tempted by the Motorola F3 (£14.97 at tesco) because it has incredible battery life due to "electronic paper" display- I will check if this is unlockable when I get home. However, I don't know if the interface for texting is sufficiently similar to nokia to keep people happy. Andy's got one I think. -[[User:Aaron|Aaron]] 13:33, 14 May 2008 (BST)

There are cheap pay as you go phones for sale in Tesco, £13.30 I think the Tesco one is pay as you go on 'Tesco mobile' So that means it might be locked onto the Tesco network? Could we put our Austrian sims in them? Need to talk or an eleven year old, they know these things.

The advantage of new Nokia phones is everyone knows how to text with em. and there’s bound to be a few car chargers about.

I thought about using Ebay to buy a phone but we might have to buy three to get two good ones...
